John Quinney, General Manager
Born in New Zealand, John has been a Vermont resident for 22 years, and a Co-op staff member since October 2001. For the past 30 years, he's successfully combined his interest in environmental issues and products with work for organizations that include Chelsea Green Publishing, NativeEnergy, Green Mountain Energy, Seventh Generation, Simply Better, the New Alchemy Institute, and the University of Vermont. Amanda Tetreault, Office Manager
Amanda joined the Co-op staff in February 2004, moving just a short distance from her previous position with the Colchester branch of the Chittenden Bank. Wayne Thompson, Service and Efficiency Program Manager
Wayne joined the Energy Co-op in July 2010 to manage and grow our service department and launch our residential efficiency program. Wayne worked at the Champlain Valley Weatherization Service for 13 years as a home energy auditor, technical coordinator and most recently, as Associate Director. Before that, he was service manager at Vermont Energy Contracting and Supply in South Burlington. He lives in Fairfax with his wife, Debbie. wayneREMOVETHISBEFORESENDING@ecvt.net
Peter Boiney, Dispatcher & Oil Truck Driver
For 23 years Peter worked for Ikon Office Solutions, as a driver, warehouse manager, service technician and dispatcher. After a brief stint on long-haul trucks, he joined us in May 2007. In his spare time, Peter enjoys moving rocks and planting trees and shrubs on his Jericho property where he lives with his wife Donna – a former oil truck driver. peterREMOVETHISBEFORESENDING@ecvt.net
Richie Lafond, Lead Service Technician
An avid race car driver and skilled mechanic, Richie has been working in the energy industry for 17 years and is an experienced oil truck driver and service technician. He repairs and installs oil-fired furnaces and boilers, as well as pellet stoves and furnaces. Richie holds a Silver Certificate from NORA (National OilHeat Research Alliance). Richie joined us in September 2000 and lives in Huntington.
Joe Cobb, Service Technician
Before joining the Energy Co-op in July 2008, Joe worked at Northern Coal and Oil, driving an oil truck for two years before training as a service technician. His past employers also include Ty’s Floor Service and Hillcrest Foods. Joe lives in St. Albans and enjoys camping and boating in his spare time.
Carroll Isham, Oil Truck Driver
After holding positions at several companies including TrueGreen ChemLawn, the St. Albans Messenger and Beldon Wire and Cable, Carroll joined the Co-op in August 2002 and worked as our customer service and data entry person. In February 2004, Carroll began driving an oil truck for us. Carroll is an avid outdoorsman and spends as much time as he can hunting and fishing. He lives in Hinesburg with his wife Joleen and twins Hailey and Isayah.
Ray Lamore, Oil Truck Driver
Ray has been driving oil trucks all over Chittenden, Lamoille and Grand Isle counties for more than thirteen years. Before joining the Co-op in September 2000, Ray also owned his own excavating business. He lives in Swanton with his daughter Brandy.
