Folks, I am into my 6th heating season using wood pellets, but this is my 1st year using your pellets. I am extremely happy with your product for the following reasons:
1. Way more heat output
2. Ash content is half of what I am used to
3. No sawdust in your bags
4. Window film build-up is less and wipes off with a damp cloth. In the past I had to use an abrasive cleaner to remove film.

What ever your manufacturing process is, do not change it. You have the other pellet manufacturers beat by a mile.

I've learned the hard way that there are a lot of poor quality pellets on the market that make the job of maintaining your stove a real pain. I've switched to pellets made by Vermont Wood Pellet Company. I’m happy with high BTU….low dust and they’re priced right. I’ll never use any other pellet in my stove again!

By far, the best softwood pellet I have ever burned are these Vermont Wood Pellets. Actually, if you read my website’s home page, I have always been a fan of the west coast softwoods like Okanagan or Blazer and have made comments that mills over here or Eastern Canada are just simply not capable of producing a decent (clean, hot and long burning softwood pellet. You and yours have proved me wrong. Great job and outstanding pellet!

For years our old boiler was noisy and it was turning off and on far too often. I think it might have been held together by duct tape, at least it looked that way. We just had the Vermont Energy Co-op (Richie and Joe) install a Buderus boiler and we are thankful we finally did replace the old boiler. The installation process was very smooth and the new boiler is much more energy efficient, quieter and, as one expect, it doesn't leak water like our old one.

I'd never use any company other than Energy Co-Op of Vermont. They are helpful and fair. You can choose a budget plan, which allows your payments to be spread out over the year (and thus enjoy a price cap, and a DROP in your payments should the price go down during the year). They also have a pre-buy and other programs. I've been with them for a few years now.

Prior to our association with Energy Co-op of Vermont we dealt with one of the larger fuel dealers in the area. We were completely at their mercy and they were the source of several unpleasant surprises. We find dealing with the Energy Co-op to be a refreshing change of philosophies. Your purchasing strategies make your products available at a reasonable price in today's market. Your service personnel are friendly informed individuals that communicate with the customer and make suggestions and offer possible solutions to any abnormalities that they encounter. My only problem with the Energy Co-op of Vermont is that they don't sell propane!

We recently had a new Weil Mclain boiler and Amtrol hot water tank installed. Joe and Richie did a great job. They had some tricky maneuvering to do to get the equipment in our basement and took every precaution to make sure nothing got damaged. Very professional, very neat and a nice finished product. First, the proposal you presented was very clear and specific – there was no doubt concerning what would be done and the final cost. While your proposal was not the lowest price I received, I was certain there would be no surprises at the end.

Second, I was apprehensive about delay, noise, dirt, etc., but there was practically no sound, and the cellar was left in a very clean condition. The installers were very professional, answered all my questions, did the job quickly and quietly and were finished in one day.

I would like to thank you and commend you for patiently wading through my 'demanding' furnace installation. It was not a straight forward install due to our unconventional basement. You did an excellent job and went out of your way to assist with questions that arose, handling unexpected changes/difficulties, such as the scheduling issues that arose. I now have confidence in the Co-op Service Department. I am also grateful to Joe Cobb for pointing out the issues with our old furnace, honestly assessing the condition of it and our tank as well as its venting setup which is now in compliance with state regulations.

I am also extremely impressed with your sub-contractor, Rich Bidwell, who handled the installation after the scheduling change which prevented you and Rich and Joe from coming. I can honestly say that I have never encountered the kind of knowledge Rich has regarding furnaces and I thoroughly enjoyed him as a person as well. He was absolutely fantastic.

I am hoping for many trouble free years from this Olsen, but am happy that you are there if any problems do arise as I know you will handle them with as much care and finesse as you did this initial install.
