Bulk Central Vermont Pellet Deliveries and $39 Bins

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

Many Vermonters love burning wood pellets, especially those made right here by Vermont Wood Pellets in North Clarendon. But some are looking for alternatives to all those plastic bags. Here’s where we can help.

Thanks to a grant from the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, we are offering bulk pellet bins to central Vermont residents for as little as $39 – 80% off full retail.

Bob Garrett of BBAF of Vermont and Andy Boutin of Pellergy, LLC have developed several bulk bin designs and delivery systems. Thanks to their efforts, and the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, we are now ready to offer the convenience of bulk delivery without the expense of high-price bins.

We have three goals for this project:

• Test the performance of three different bulk bins, to be sold to central Vermont residents at an 80% discount off current costs,

• Optimize performance of the bulk pellet delivery systems developed by Pellergy LLC and BBAF of Vermont, and,

• Use operational data to evaluate, analyze and improve our knowledge of the economics and financing of bulk pellet delivery systems.

Say Goodbye to Big Winter Oil Bills with our Easy Pay Plans

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

No-one wants to get hit with big oil bills during the winter, especially around the holidays. That’s why we created our Easy Pay plans for Energy Co-op members.

Here’s how they work. We take your estimated oil use through June next year and spread your payments out over eight months, starting in November and ending in June. Many of our members find this an easier and more convenient way to pay for their oil or kerosene. You don’t get a big bill after each delivery; you simply pay the same amount each month.

We’ll send you a statement each month showing payments made, your fuel deliveries and interest earned. That’s right, interest – earned at the rate of 3% a year for each month when you have a credit balance.

To make things even easier, we can charge your monthly payments to your credit or debit card automatically. You don’t need to do a thing.

Our sign up deadline for our Easy Pay plans is November 26, 2010. So don’t delay, call us at 860-4090 today or go to visit our website for more information about our Vermont Home Heating Oil Budget Plans.
