Oil tanks need replacing after about twenty years in service. Our technicians check oil tanks on every service call and recommend replacements whenever they detect weaknesses or instability. Our new oil tanks are UL listed, made from 12 gauge steel and have all been inspected and pressure-tested to make sure they don’t leak, so you stay safe and warm through cold Vermont winters.

If you have an underground oil tank, especially one that has been in place for twenty years or more, you should consider replacing it with a new basement tank. The Petroleum Clean-Up Fund offers grants of up to $2,000 towards the cost of removing, replacing or upgrading both underground and above ground residential heating oil tanks.
