Vermont 2008/09 Heating Oil Prices

The chart below shows our monthly cash prices for heating oil in dollars per gallon for the 2008/09 season. The price comparison is with average Vermont heating oil prices as reported by the Vermont Department of Public Service.

We Offered Several Price Protection Plans for 2008/09

We offered our Smart Choice budget plan with a cap price of $4.49/gallon to Co-op members from June 15 until July 18, 2008. Price protection cost an additional 25 cents/gallon. From July 21 – August 8, 2008 we offered a cap price of $4.89/gallon to Co-op members. Price protection cost an additional 40 cents/gallon.

We offered a $4.29/gallon fixed price pre-buy plan to Co-op members from June 15 until July 18, 2008. From July 21 – August 8, 2008, we offered a $4.69/gallon fixed price pre-buy plan to Co-op members.
