Vermont Heating System Service Contracts

We provide Co-op members with service contracts to help offset the cost of unexpected repair bills for home heating systems. Before we offer service contracts, our technicians schedule an appointment to check out your heating system. After a thorough inspection, clean and tune and an efficiency test, we approve your heating system for a one year service contract or, if we find serious problems, recommend repairs or replacement.

Cost And Benefits

Our service contracts cost $195 for one year's coverage and include the following:

Free Burner Tune-Up and Cleaning

Our technician will replace the nozzle, oil filter and pump screen, clean out accumulated soot, clean and adjust electrodes and motors. We’ll also check your oil tank. If we approve your heating system for a service contract, there is no charge for this work; otherwise it’s priced at $115.

25% Labor Discount

We offer a 25% round-the-clock discount on all labor and travel.

5%/25% Parts Discount

We offer a 25% discount on parts priced at less than $500 and a 5% discount on parts priced at more than $500.

5% Discount on Oil Tank and Heating System Replacements

For work completed during the service contract term.
