John Quinney, General Manager

Born in New Zealand, John has been a Vermont resident for seventeen years, and a Co-op staff member since October 2001. For the past 25 years, he's successfully combined his interest in environmental issues and products with work for organizations that include Chelsea Green Publishing, Native Energy, Green Mountain Energy, Seventh Generation, Simply Better, the New Alchemy Institute, and the University of Vermont. John lives in Charlotte with his wife Colleen.

Sharon Walker, Office Manager

Sharon joined the Co-op in July 2001 and brought with her a background that includes more than 15 years experience in office management, bookkeeping and administration. An avid painter who loves to cook and spend time with her family, she lives in Shelburne.

Richie Lafond, Service Manager

An avid race car driver and skilled mechanic, Richie has been working in the energy industry for thirteen years and is an experienced oil truck driver and trained in oil furnace service and maintenance. Richie joined us in September 2000 and was promoted to Service Manager in April 2007. He lives in Williston.

Amanda Webb-LaPlant, Customer Service
Amanda joined the Co-op staff in February 2004, moving just a short distance from her previous position with the Colchester branch of the Chittenden Bank. Amanda loves to spend time with her family and enjoys biking and camping with her fiancé, Corey. Amanda lives with Corey near the Co-op office in Colchester.

Peter Boiney, Oil Truck Driver
For 23 years, Peter worked for Ikon Office Solutions, as a driver, warehouse manager, service technician and dispatcher. After a brief stint on long-haul trucks, he joined us in May 2007. In his spare time, Peter enjoys moving rocks and planting trees and shrubs on his Jericho property where he lives with his wife Donna - another oil truck driver.

Ian Davis, Oil Truck Driver
Ian has been driving trucks of one kind or another for more than seventeen years. For much of this time he worked for garbage haulers in Massachusetts and Vermont, where he moved in 1999. Ian began driving for the Co-op in October 2004. During the summers, he drives trucks for construction companies, working all over the state. Ian lives in Colchester with his wife, Judith, and their iguana, Kyoto.

Carroll Isham, Oil Truck Driver
After holding positions at several companies including TrueGreen ChemLawn, the St. Albans Messenger and Beldon Wire and Cable, Carroll joined the Co-op in August 2002 and worked as our customer service and data entry person. In February 2004, Carroll began driving an oil truck for us. Carroll is an avid outdoorsman and spends as much time as he can hunting and fishing. He lives in Hinesburg.

Ray Lamore, Oil Truck Driver
Ray has been driving oil trucks all over Chittenden, Lamoille and Grand Isle counties for more than thirteen years. Before joining the Co-op in September 2000, Ray also owned his own excavating business. He lives in Cambridge with his daughter Brandy.

Tim Jerry, Service Technician
Tim joined the Energy Co-op in June 2007. His work experience dates to 1994 when he began working as a commercial duct installer for Vermont Mechanical. Since 1997, Tim has worked as an OilHeat service technician and plumbers apprentice. In his spare time, he enjoys model railroading and playing electric guitar. He lives in the St. Albans area.

Mickey Montgomery, Service Technician
Mickey joined us in August 2005 and has been busy ever since, installing new furnaces and boilers, replacing old oil tanks, and repairing our members' heating systems. Mickey worked as a service technician for Agway for more than twenty years. He lives in St Albans and has two daughters.
