Offering Co-op Membership in the Middlesex area
Red house in Vermont

Middlesex is alocated on the I-89 corridor between Burlington and Montpelier. Dairy farming, sheep herding, logging, orchards and maple sugaring have all historically been part of the town's economy.

Following the end of World War II, the town slowly transitioned to becoming a place to live for people who worked elsewhere, mostly in Montpelier. It is the home town of Vermont's long-serving senator, Patrick Leahy.

The Energy Co-op provides wood pellet deliveries to households in Middlesex that are within 5 miles of downtown Montpelier. It also provides consulation and referrals for homeowners interested in energy efficiency services. Our current service provider for energy audits in the Middlesex area is Montpelier Construction.
