Since September 2000, the Energy Co-op of Vermont has been providing members in Montpelier, Vermont, with heating oil deliveries, heating system repairs and installations, and starting in 2009, wood pellet deliveries. Heating oil and wood pellet deliveries
During the heating season, the Energy Co-op of Vermont makes weekly deliveries toMontpelier. With automatic delivery and our 'No Run-Out' guarantee, this could be the last time you ever have to think about your home heating fuel. . We deliver wood pellets year-round with a one ton minimum delivery required. In general, we require about two weeks notice for wood pellet deliveries.
About Vermont Wood Pellets
Almost 200 Co-op members now burn Vermont wood pellets and are very pleased with the results. The pellets are made in North Clarendon, Vermont, have very high energy content (so you get more heat for your money) and produce very little ash (so you spend less time maintaining your stove). We deliver these pellets year-round right to your home.
Service and repairs for your heating equipment
When your furnace or boiler needs service, we’re just a phone call away — at any time of the day or night. Our service technicians have many years experience, and have NORA silver certificates and Vermont licenses. We provide annual annual tune-ups to make sure your heating equipment is running efficiently and also offer service contracts.
New furnaces and boilers
If your furnace or boiler is more than fifteen years old, you’re sending dollar bills up the chimney every winter. That’s because new heating equipment is much more efficient than older systems. Each year, we install more than 25 efficient, Energy Star furnaces and boilers for our members. We provide estimates for no charge.
Price protection and monthly payment plans
We offer several plans to help protect our members from sky high oil prices and to avoid huge winter oil bills. About half our members sign up for one of these plans each year. New this year, we’re also offering price protection and monthly payment plans for wood pellets. All these plans are available for a limited time in the summer and early fall.
