Vermont Home Energy Check-Ups – only $50
What if you could get a complete energy check-up for your home, delivered on-line, for only $50?
Here’s how it works. We send a certified energy auditor to your home for a 40-minute check-up. We rate your home on more than 100 points and send you the results via email within 24 hours. You view your home energy check-up on our web site at your convenience. You learn about your home’s heating equipment, energy-efficiency, indoor air quality, and more. Then you decide what to fix. The service technicians at the Energy Co-op are always available to help with most efficiency improving projects; but we also keep a list of experienced contractors we recommend for specialty jobs.
We stay in touch to let you know about new tax credits and incentives for energy-efficient home improvements. We pass along information on new products. We alert you when local retailers have special offers on products and services that match your home energy check-up. If you have an old refrigerator, for example, we’ll let you know when local retailers are having sales on Energy Star models.
As work is completed on your home, we let you know how much oil or kerosene you’re saving. And we encourage you to share your experiences with other Co-op members.
