About Us
The Energy Co-op of Vermont was launched in September 2000 and began accepting members for the first time in July 2001. This historic event was the culmination of two years work in which we completed our business plan, established low-income energy bill management programs, researched co-op operations, acquired the Miller Oil Company, and completed other start-up tasks.

present and future?
Eleven years later, we deliver heating oil, kerosene and wood pellets and provide heating system maintenance, repairs and replacement for 2,800 members. We own four oil delivery trucks and three service vans and rent office and garage space in Colchester, Vermont. We have weathered dramatic changes in economic conditions and oil markets and are one of the few oil dealers still offering price protection programs for our members.
