I just want to compliment your service man. He did an outstanding job. He was especially concerned over parts in the boiler and to check it out to his satisfaction. He was also very clean. As I told him, in years past, I have always had a bad odor of oil in the house when other service people left. He left and there is very little odor. Just thought you should know, he is a good representative of Energy Co-op of VT. A pleasure to have you as my oil and service company.
For years our old boiler was noisy and it was turning off and on far too often. I think it might have been held together by duct tape, at least it looked that way. We just had the Vermont Energy Co-op (Richie and Joe) install a Buderus boiler and we are thankful we finally did replace the old boiler. The installation process was very smooth and the new boiler is much more energy efficient, quieter and, as one expect, it doesn't leak water like our old one.
Thank you so much for all of the wonderful work and guidance you gave us when it came to deciding what our best option for heat should be in our new (to us) house. Last winter, we survived on a wood stove and two older model kerosene heaters. After looking at all of our options, we decided to ask Wayne to install a new gas furnace and to retrofit our 1960's ranch with ductwork. It turned out better than I thought possible. Wayne and his team were top-notch professionals and thought of everything that we would need for this project. They were on time and on budget. We are now looking forward to a comfortable winter in our new house. Your team made this possible. With much appreciation.
While I was away today my pellets were delivered and Steve did an awesome job. Pellets right where I wanted, nicely placed next to each other. It's much appreciated!
Just had to reach out and say "Thanks" again to everybody at your shop. The bottom line is, my family had a warm and safe weekend thanks to everybody that went the extra bit to fix our furnace. That kind of appreciation really can't be shared all the time now that so many folks are always used to complaining and wanting it at the last minute. Anyway, best to all of you and I know I'll need a tune-up now that the new box and transformer are on-line. Call when you can to schedule after your needs slow down and I know I'll be telling the folks about your great crew in the meantime.
Every time I call the Energy Co-op, I’m greeted by a friendly staff member who really takes their time explaining things to me. I never feel like they’re in a rush. And I always end up learning something about my energy consumption. They definitely want to help me improve it, and I’m grateful for that.
You pay a little more for them, but they're the best pellet on the market." (Vermont Wood Pellets)
The Heat Pump is working good, remote controller set to 74 degrees, house indoors temp reads 75 degrees, outside temp 92 degrees. What's nice is this unit knows when to cool or heat the house automatically. Tell Nick thanks for setting up the unit on that hot muggy day and answering all my annoying questions.
I recently had a great experience with Joe, your service manager, and Rick, your subcontractor. They were very thoughtful, helpful and explained all of my heating system options. The Energy Co-op had been referred to me by my neighbor, who is a long time customer. I had a flood in June which wiped out my system, but my old farmhouse is pretty unique and I really needed a good consultation. Thanks for having such great employees. I have already been singing your praises.
We had the pleasure of being served today by Steve, who delivered our pellets. He called prior to arriving and was extremely polite and accommodating. When he arrived he was absolutely tops in customer service--such a nice man and extremely skilled. What a treat it was to deal with Steve -- the experience made our day! You have a gold star employee there and we hope you have a way to recognize that. Thank you.
