Offering Co-op Membership in the Montpelier area
Montpelier Vermont Heating Fuel Services

Montpelier is the capital Vermont and the county seat of Washington County. The population was 7,855 at the 2010 census. However, the daytime population swells to about 21,000, due to the large number of jobs within city limits. In 2015, Montpelier committed to a goal of becoming a "net zero" city to reduce its use of fossil fuels and offset the carbon-based energy it uses by producing an equivalent amount of surplus renewable energy.

We deliver clean–burning heating oil and also supply made–in–Vermont wood pellets to our Montpelier members.

Beyond our fuel delivery services, Montpelier area members of the Energy Co–op of Vermont enjoy the following benefits:

  • A voice in the Co–op’s affairs
  • Access to price protection and monthly payment plans
  • Automatic, trouble–free heating oil deliveries
